Our Story
OSAAT Roofing and Construction was established in 2025, by two friends who knew they could improve how the roofing industry operates. It is well-known that dishonesty and exploitation are rampant in the construction industry.
Our owners – like the rest of us – got tired of working in a system that doesn’t work for them. Now, OSAAT strives to fight for and educate homeowners, offer our team honest pay, and treat every customer as if they were our neighbor.
Meet the Owners
My name is Christopher Navas, and I’ve proudly called Katy home for most of my life. I grew up in the Houston area and graduated high school in 2017 — the same year I became a father, which quickly taught me responsibility, patience, and the value of doing things the right way. I got married in 2020 and entered the roofing industry in 2021. Since then, I’ve worked in management, operations, and regional roles, as well as on the manufacturing side of metal roofing. That background gives me a full understanding of not just selling projects, but how they’re built, installed, and meant to last.
I have experience with all major roofing systems — shingles, metal, modular — along with insurance and retail work. I also work with siding, gutters, fencing, and both interior and exterior projects. No matter the size of the job, I truly enjoy helping homeowners understand their options and feel confident in their decisions.
I treat every project the way I’d treat a neighbor’s or family member’s home — with honesty, care, and attention to detail. No project is too big, and none is too small. We build and serve our community the same way we do everything else… one step at a time.
Meet the Owners
My name is Richard Seymour. I grew up a military brat but spent most of my life in Texas, which I proudly call home.
I started college pursuing business and accounting, but after two years realized it wasn’t the path for me. I spent several years in retail before finding my way into the roofing industry—by chance—and haven’t looked back since. Within just three months at my first company, I was promoted to management, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of roofing systems, materials, and best practices. I’ve handled retail, commercial, and insurance projects across multiple states, with my primary focus in Central Texas. After more than three years in the industry, I decided it was time to start my own company.
My favorite part of working in roofing is meeting different people and helping them understand the process so they can make confident, informed decisions. If a customer is looking for information I’m happy to oblige and make sure there’s no stone unturned. My saying is to treat every customer how you wish someone will treat your own grandmother in their time of need.
